What is the Club Coach Program? Club Coaches are Toastmasters dedicated to helping membership challenged clubs become Distinguished Clubs. Along the way, clubs learn how to sustain their membership over the long haul. Their coach makes suggestions and helps them plan for a brighter future. And the coaches assigned to clubs develop leadership skills and gain the satisfaction of helping people grow. Coaching is a WIN-WIN situation for all involved! Does your club have 12 or fewer members? Then you are eligible to request a club coach for you club. Help is just an email away! Put Coach Request in the subject line and send a request to clubcoach@toastmastersd50.org – it is that simple! We will send you the name of a prospective coach for your acceptance. Then we file paperwork with Toastmasters International. Want to be a club coach? You can start by sending an email to clubcoach@toastmastersd50.org. Put I want to Coach in the subject line. We will gather some information from you and find a club that is a match if you do not already have one in mind. If you are interested in coaching a specific club you must NOT be a member of the club you wish to coach. As long as the club has a membership total with Toastmasters International of 12 or fewer members and has put in a request for a club coach, we just file some paperwork! It really is that easy! Club Coaches will receive credit towards their Advanced Leader Silver award! The club will need to reach Distinguished or better during your club coach assignment for credit to be given. |
